Deon van Zyl Town Planners is an independent town planning consultancy that specialise in the conversion of land use rights, as well as desktop feasibility studies to identify the development potential of land parcels in a quick and efficient manner to provide accurate planning advice to clients. After working in the Town Planning field for more than 10 years Deon van Zyl founded DVZ Town Planners in 2003.

We are a dedicated town planning consultancy established with the aim of delivering added value through acquiring the latest planning and environmental information in GIS format and presenting the information in an easy to understand format to clients. We combine in-depth knowledge of planning legislation in South Africa, commercial awareness and a clear understanding of both the development process and environment.

Deon obtained a B Degree (B.Art. et. Scien) from the University of Potchefstroom at the end of 1992 and is registered as a Professional Planner (Pr. Pln A/1597/2012). Deon have more than 25 years experience in various aspects of town and regional planning and land development.

Wanda holds a three (3) year NHDip from the Pretoria Technicon (Office Administration) and is responsible for administration of the office on a day to day basis. Wanda had 10 years experience in the corporate finance environment, before she and Deon established Deon van Zyl Town Planners in 2003.

Busisiwe Nkabinde has a Three Year Diploma in Office and Secretarial Management from CVS College. Busi joined Deon van Zyl Consultants as an office assistant in 2006 (in –training student) and was to the position of Town Planning Assistant at the same Company.
